Ivo Comes Clean

"I am not 'Georgeous' – I am Ivo."

But he IS gorgeous!!!! Here is Ivo in the bath - which he loves now, due to some alchemical reaction to potty-training.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Here is a selection of Ivo’s communication book entries dealing with sharing and getting along with others, specifically not grabbing toys away from other kids or pushing them. Usually Ivo gets glowing reports. I just think this is funny.

Ivo’s communication book entry for 12/28
Thank you for help me tell Ivo li(2) mao(4) /manners/. Our kids are learning it now. I try to let they know zun(1) zhong(4) bie(2) ren(2) /respect other people/.”

Ivo’s communication book entry for 12/31:
Happy New Year! Today Ivo will say ‘ke(3) yi(3) wan(2) ma(5)?’ /May I play?/. Sometime he forget, but it’s a good news for learning manners.

Ivo’s communication book entry for 1/21:
Today, all kid play together, one boy take other kid toy, and I listen, one boy say, ‘mei(2) li(3) mao(4)’ /no manners/, It’s Ivo. Woo – he know it and use this word, good job!

Ivo’s communication book entry for 1/25:
Ivo help me care kids, he’s very good, like a brother play with kids.

Ivo’s communication book entry for 2/25
At last week and today, I find Ivo, when he play, he forget to “ask” (for a toy). I will tell Ivo, so I hope you can too.

(Ryan was told when he picked the boys up that day, that Ivo had been pushing a baby. Mortifying… We talked to him about it but all Ivo would tell us is that he likes the baby with the long hair and he doesn’t like the baby, Zun-ting. Ivo c/wouldn’t tell us why and he couldn’t be persuaded that it’s unreasonable or silly not to like a baby. Nor could we get him to agree that, even if you don't like a baby - you can't push him/her. We told Ivo’s teacher to time-him-out if he hits-pushes other kids – especially babies, for g-d’s sake…)

Ivo’s communication book entry for 2/26:
I try to tell Ivo can’t push, but Ivo say, “because I don’t like he” and he say again so I let he sit chair. But he crying I think he bu(4) neng(2) jie(1) sho(4) /can’t accept/.

Ivo’s communication book entry for 2/27:
Ivo can play with everyone, But he real don’t like that baby, Zun-ting. It’s ok, now we keep the baby away, and I will tell Ivo again, maybe Ivo will know and can like baby.
