I took no pics yesterday or today. I'm still sorting thru the pics from the weekend. There's a lot of good and a lot of fuzzy. Lots of cropping and red-eyes to take care of...
Burl is getting top teeth - but it seems like he's skipped a tooth on each side and moved on to a bigger more painful tooth. Burl nods thank you and yes - very cute and sweet. He loves the teletubbies. He is really starting to communicate what he wants, without allowing himself to be distracted or sidetracked.
Ivo is potty trained. I will now only mention it if there is a colorful anecdote or when nighttime diapers disappear. He is definitely in the middle of a growth spurt - developmental, that is. He simultaneously refuses everything I say and demands to bao-bao. Lots of self-assertion; if it's not Ivo's idea, it's a very very hard sell. We find, though, if we're patient and don't force it/him, he often will make the decision to do what we'd earlier hoped. I wish I weren't so tired because I'd love to write down some of Ivo's new phrases. He's absorbing and incorporating so much language lately - not just vocab but also turns of phrase. And recently he often tells us what something is in Chinese.

Hello Sandy,
Looks like you had a Fun Sunday playing in the park in Taichung. Really enjoy your pictures. My favorite ones are those ones with Ivo and Burl close up. I also love the first one of you and Burl, and the one Ryan with Ivo in one hand, Burl in the other-a very loving family..
Love, sherry
