Ivo: hair color

Ivo knows his colors. I've said it before. If you ask him the color of something, he answers correctly; even orange, even teal.





That's why it's so perplexing that the question, "What color hair do you have?" elicits a firm, "Black." On this matter, Ivo stands resolute.

Despite the lack of mirrors available to Ivo in our house, he recognizes himself. He sees enough pictures and is delighted by his reflection when he is surprised by it when out and about - like in elevator doors, glass storefronts or, heck, in any of the many public mirrors available to assist in public grooming or checking oneself out. I've been telling him his hair is blond or yellow but he'll have none of it. He must just figure black is the color of hair...
