Animals! b/w Fur!

After politely sitting in their strollers and/or otherwise resisting the urge to eat floor, the little animals hit the carpet at *bucks yesterday. I couldn't get very good pics - the kids were slithering, slipping, climbing and pushing - in constant motion - dizzying to those of us standing.
That's Burl and sweet little Shea. Shea was due 2/27 and born 2/21. Burl was due 2/22 and born 2/28. Baby Tessa is getting even more beautiful every time we see her - which, legally or some other-wise, shouldn't be possible. I didn't get pics of her yesterday - but here are a couple from 24 Oct.

And YAY! Finally Mary and HeiJi, the cutest jiwawa this side of oaxaca, were allowed to stay inside. They've been surviving the slings and arrows of outrageous capriciousness on *bucks' part. By far, HeiJi was the best behaved of all the animals. And if *bucks really wants to take its customers' comfort into account, they'd be better off insisting that kids sit outside!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Wth all this CUTE going on, I've gotto talk more about my new haircut. Duh. Today I washed my hair for the 1st time since the cut - so the waves are gone, but I gotta say, I still look great.

I will now discuss some of the features of my haircut and how they address my needs.
  • No preset part for general hair nor for bangs (that's "fringe" to you, Heather). This makes my haircut easy and versatile.

  • Though I can, it is unnecessary for me to push my hair behind my ears. This means that wearing my hair down is much simpler, possible and likely as I'm not bothered by it - plus it's less available to Burl's grabby little monkey hands.

  • I can easily pull my hair back without having wispy bits everywhere - but I don't HAVE to which I like, cuz for so long, I've had all this hair but cuz it was always pulled back, I looked like a Q-tip ("cotton-swab," Heather).

  • Having hair around my face gives me the illusion of having fuller thicker hair than I do. Now my smallish (though still baby-fat - I'm looking at YOU, Burl!) face on my strangely small-for-such-a-smart-person's head is framed - which helps balance out the ungainliness of my enormous boobs. This is paramount.

Before.

And Now.

In other news,

  • I'm looking for shimmery mucus-colored shirts - to camouflage the shimmery mucus I wear anyway. Is there any color, pattern or material I can wear that will not set-off the boogs I get smeared on EVERYTHING I wear?

  • Burl has started standing up, out-stretching his hands while giggling for a second or two before collapsing onto his bum.

  • Ivo's been singing up a storm.

  • While playing make-believe, Ivo told me,"I a good guy now. I was a bad guy, a jellyfish. Sting everybody in da ocean. Sting da scuba-diver."
