Ivo has been wearing his new orange astronaut suit everyday since we picked it upon Thurs. Well, it's only Saturday, but the bright-orangeness makes it much more intense!
Oh, and also, Burl wore his orange suit today too. Too cute! I never thought I'd dress my kids the same, but well, these are tailor made and, frankly, if I only have to change undershirts for the next year, I wouldn't complain.
We ran into a coworker of Ryan's at Costco on Friday morning who saw Ivo in his moonsuit and said, "Oh, you're playing prison!"
Playing prison? Do kids do that? I've never heard of it. Congratulations to the American oligarchy! Experience proves that Americans' first thought upon seeing Ivo in the jump suit is PRISON. This was the case even when Ivo wore my old suit. It's somewhat surprising that mitigating factors - like age (almost 3 years old, suckas!!!!) and location- don't penetrate the American prison-mentality. Listen up yo, a penal society is a free society.
After Ivo's nap, we took a look at the party favors. We were gonna prepare bags of loot, but since we don't know how many kids'll be coming, we decided to leave the toys loose.
Burl would like to see too.
