Thru pinyin.info I found Wenlin.com.
On the pinyin site you can read all about the background and current situation with romanization - and character simplification.
On the wenlin site, you can download a free demo version of software to help you study characters.

hey sandy
Love the blog so much - i check it all the time. Ivo looks so grown up and so cute.
Showed Cuy the blog yesterday and he just kept saying 'IvoIvoIvoIvo' over and over again. But no matter what I say, he pronounces it 'Eye-vo'. Too weird.
when I read about Ivo's development, it reminds me of what we've already gone through and how kids change so quickly. We had moved on from the throwing of objects but this week we're back to it again except Cuy has added the words 'Ready? Ball' and then does the big throw. It seems anything can magically morph into a ball with this simple phrase, even rocks!
lots of love and we miss you
Leonie
yay! miss you toooooo!!! ivo's been wearing cuy's star shoes - he points at the stars and says, 'ooh?'
i like the 'ready, ball!' - at least you have a split second! i'm not sure, but i think i'm getting bone spurs... this am, he just came up to me w a small wooden mallet and wacked me w the force of 10 men...
love and kisses to you guys!
