Ivo Burl Update:Tired & Happy

All's well. Boys did great at school. Burl walked right in and over to the jungle gym/ball pool. He couldn't walk last month at the beginning of vacation!

Burl's teething. Burl now pulls us around by our pants-legs to show us stuff. Burl makes jokes about things like hitting the computer after we tell him "nooooo." He laughs and looks at us while he hits it. He rode a 2-wheeler at the park today - he asked to. He's very social and communicative, though somewhat shy. He loves to go out for walks, drives - anything.

Ivo is great - he's all about similes; my hair is like noodles, yr shirt looks like a zebra. He loves trains. He talks about the difference b/w steam trains and high speed trains. He also loves puddles and jumped in one at school yesterday, in his socks. He sings a lot. Ivo does an exact rendition of the Tubby-tubbies. He sings the song and then says, "One day, in tubby-tubbyland, LaaLaa was looking for Po... eh-oh" We have been watching Teletubbies a lot recently cuz Burl is crazy about them.

Burl grabbed a Teletubbies coloring book at Carre4 today - his first ever request!

My camera is on the fritz!!!!!! It's been doing things like this since Sunday - click on me and Ivo to see the stripes that aren't there.

And: our desktop is dying.

But perhaps, more disheartening than those annoyances is that I can only find undergarments to fit me at maternity stores. Yuck. Not sexy. I don't usually feel like a big disgusting monster but after an otherwise lovely shopping trip with Rayne today at a huge department store (that should have lingerie for people with boobs!!!) ... demoralizing. Again with the "Are you pregnant?" from a saleswoman. In retrospect, I probably was pregnant - but only just - back then. And I'd better not be now. Oh g-d!
