Wonder Boys

First thing's first...

It was 30 degrees Celsius here today. I am sweating and it's 10pm. That's enough of that.

So why I didn't blog or, boo hoo, take a pic of Burl yesterday. I had a fever. High grade from Tuesday night through Wednesday night. I didn't even leave the 2nd floor. I didn't get the camera - so March 14 - Burl's 2 weeks old day - I've no pics.

Also my phone died on Tuesday - cuz I got sick, I haven't gotten it looked at yet. Hopefully it'll be fixed tomorrow.

I guess it kinda takes the pressure off - I had planned to take a pic of him every day of his life... Guess I'll just have to have another baby for that project...

Ivo is great - adjusting well. I was 17 months when my brother was born and my mother tells me I pushed him off the dining room table. So, with this kind of ruthlessness in his blood, Ivo's exercising some world-class restraint!

I know I'm leaving out more than I can include... My brain's at half-staff and I only have use of one arm. But here are the boys' recent accomplishments...

Burl: smiling, incessant pooping, first mosquito bite, first day w/o pants, 2-3 extended periods of engaged wakefulness/day - one around 3am!

Ivo: Says; "have a great day!", guacamole, Ivo (with a v/f sound!), "grammie doug" -something lost in the translation I'm afraid, sorry, please (he's been saying those two for awhile - I forgot to add them before), "hey man!"

Ivo is faking falling down - "Dash fall down the black couch," "Dash fall down the yellow couch." He's jumping and dancing like crazy. Today he wanted some andes chocolate mint candies - he told me he wanted the green chocolate... Too cool. He's just amazing.
